Susan A. Crist, MS. Ed.
Director & Executive Function Coach
Coach Susan specializes in executive functioning skills coaching for students of all ages, as well as adults. With over twenty-five years of professional experience in academic settings, she has worked closely with hundreds of children and adults to achieve success in school and life. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science in educational psychology from Georgia State University. Coach Susan's passion is to encourage parents and to promote student success, seeking to help each client achieve the best version of themselves. She accomplishes this through understanding each family’s situation, then implementing research-based best practices and practical, developmentally appropriate, customized action plans. Coach Susan has held numerous parent and teacher seminars and parent support groups in the US, Central America, and Africa. When not coaching, Ms. Crist enjoys kayaking and gardening. She lives in Gwinnett County and Lakemont, Georgia, with her husband. They have two grown daughters.

Jessica Ontko Freeman
Executive Function Coach
Coach Jessica has more than 15 years of experience as a therapist working with children and adults across the life span in a broad range of clinical settings. Her passion and therapeutic skill-building abilities contribute in important ways to her work as an Executive Function Coach. As a highly trained therapist, Coach Jessica discerns when therapy is needed for anxiety or other needs prior to a client being able to onboard EF strategies. Her approach starts from a place of strength, possibility, and openness. She is passionate about providing proper EF coaching and tools for those struggling with executive function disorders that impact working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. Coach Jessica subscribes to the theory that when people know better, they can do better! She resides in Forsyth County with her husband and son.

Lori DeLange
Executive Function Coach
Lori DeLange focuses on coaching students and adults as they develop critical executive function skills. With experience as a public and private school educator for more than two decades, she believes that, with proper support, everyone can grow and learn. Coach Lori earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M. She specializes in working with children and adults identified as gifted and/or with learning challenges. Coach Lori strives to help her clients thrive as they implement executive function strategies that will set them up for future success and reduced stress and frustration. She lives in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband, children, and dog, Murphy.

Hika Anani
Executive Function Coach
Hika Anani is an educator and Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist with nearly 14 years of experience in supporting learners at all levels. As an educator, she is highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive instruction and observation. As a cognitive skills trainer, Coach Hika has particular expertise in helping students to develop stronger underlying skills to support their learning, such as processing speed, attention, and memory/recall. Coach Hika holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature-Creative Writing from Agnes Scott College, Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning and Technology from Ashford University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and English Literature from Bennington College. Coach Hika seamlessly integrates her training and expertise into all EF coaching sessions, empowering each of her clients to take the tools and strategies they learn in sessions and use them to create transformative day-to-day experiences at home, work, and in school.

Shannon McMillen
Executive Function Coach
Shannon McMillen has been teaching for 35 years in private and public schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from UGA in Early Childhood, Reading Specialist, and Gifted Education. She graduated with her Educational Specialist Degree from Brenau University in 1995. Shannon has worked with gifted students and students struggling with reading. She has used executive functioning skills in her classroom with struggling students as well as with those trhat excel. EF coaching helps studfents manage their "school life". If they can keep up with their "things" and assignments, stay on track and complete tasks from beginning to end; this transfers to their adult life in college, the workforce, relationships, and raising a family. Shannon has used Executive Function skills in her home for all three of her children and helping herself manage the busy life of a working mother. She believes EF skills are an asset everyoneand anyone can use to better their day-to-day lives. Focusing on these skills and using them in relationships, school and work helps everyone be the most productive and best versionof themselves. Shannon lives in Gwinnett County with her family, four cats, and two dogs.

Troy White
Executive Function Coach
Troy White is passionate about helping students and young adults find tools and strategies that improve their executive function skills, leading to more success in their lives. After graduating from Jacksonville State University, Coach Troy was a small business owner for over a decade. After selling his business, he started teaching high school in Cobb Country and now will be going into his fourth year teaching at Capstone Academy, a local private school. Coach Troy lives in Marietta with his wife and two children. Coach Troy’s greatest asset is the experience he gained growing up and living with dyslexia. His 16-year-old daughter also faces the challenges of dyslexia, so he understands that there is not a one size fits all in solving and implementing executive function strategies. Coach Troy can’t wait to support you and your family in finding the tools and strategies that will best enable you to successfully achieve your goals.
